DIY Network GO App Reviews

Seriously? With all the app development experience and knowledge out there, can you not figure out how to build a stable app that doesnt crash constantly in one episode?! It seems its likely because of the loading of the ads. Or its a subversive and malicious way to keep a viewer watching lots of the same ads because they keep rerunning each time the app needs to be restarted. Terrible. This app is liken to the worst amateur DIY project. I know this is the DIY network, but could you please get some good professional programmers?

the volume discrepancies between various ads and the content is infuriating. please prioritize fixing this. really unpleasant to get blasted with and ad thats twice as loud as everything else.

I love being able to stream my favorite shows on all my devices. This app allows to same streaming capabilities most network apps do. One bonus is being able to chromecast...yeah! However, the app only allows one show to be viewed at a time. Once you finish watching a rehab attic, you have to disconnect from chromecast, start a new episode on your mobile device, watch a few seconds, then recast. Not the worst thing in the world, just inconvenient. Hope an update will fix the problem.

I spent 30 minutes trying to get this app to stream live on my Apple TV just to have it crash repeatedly during the subscriber sign in flow. Then, once I actually got the sign process to work, it was stuck on the loading screen long enough for the Apple TV screen saving to come on. I gave up after 10min of watching "load". I tried the same thing on the iPhone app and experienced the same issues. Once I got over the fact that I was not going to watch the pilot of a new show I was hoping to see I figured I would try to watch something else. I was met with poor quality and consistent buffering. We have 150mbps service and have no issues streaming from any other provider. Both the Apple TV and iPhone Apps are a complete waste of time and have already been deleted.

Well it crashes a lot, tells me that my provider xfinity doesnt get this network when I know for a fact it does, and if you have a favorite show most likely they will make you wait an extra week to even put it on the app. I used to use it all the time but honestly I cant ignore the issues anymore.

Would be nice to watch my father in tv. But unfortunately I need a cable company to do so. Some have the key symbol can only watch the ones that dont. Everyone tune in to watch barnwood builders.
